In 2005, St. Hugh’s formed a ‘Leadership Team’ following the Benedictine model but this grew into the ‘Church Council’ in 2011 with the priest appointing members but with one third up for change each year and an obligatory year break after two terms of three years being served.  This is to encourage more involvement by more of the congregation and to prepare for the final step of becoming a PCC.
